The severe weather is coming from Storm Brendan which is approaching from the west. The bad weather will strike the upper reaches of the Thames Path first and will make its way down to London.
The flood warnings between Teddington and Putney remain in place. These are caused by high tides following the full moon at the weekend. The bad weather will only make matters worse.
