The Environment Agency has issued a number of warnings and alerts. We have established a dedicated page called Thames Path status which replicated the warnings and alerts that are relevant to the Thames Path.
This page will be updated as and when changes occur.
A number of areas appear to be badly impacted as the heavy rain over the weekend has fallen on what was already saturated ground. These include Waterhay near Cricklade, between Lechlade and Newbridge, in and around Oxford, and Shiplake (just downstream from where the Loddon joins the Thames).
River levels are forecasted to rise today and tomorrow which means it will get worse before it gets better.
