Ridgeway Bag Transfers

Walking the Ridgeway and need baggage or luggage transfers? The team at  Walk the Thames can help with your Ridgeway baggage transfers. Simply email us with your itinerary at info@walkthethames.co.uk or fill out the contact form below.

Bags are picked up from 9am and are dropped off before 4pm

We send you text messages once the bags are picked up and again when dropped off. That gives you peace of mind whilst walking.

We charge £25 for one bag and £30 for two bags. This is per move. Bags should be no more than 20kg. For larger groups, additional bags are charged at £5 per bag.

We can also pick up and drop off on travel days. For instance, if you were to arrive in Oxford and plan to walk that day, we will meet you to collect your bags and then deliver it to your hotel later that day. Likewise we can deliver your bags to you in person at a station. There is an additional charge  equivalent to one transfer for this “meet and greet” service. So, for instance, if you are party of 2, the charge will be £30 plus an additional £30 for the “meet and greet” service. A party of 3 will be charged £35 plus an additional £35 for the “meet and greet” service.

All charges are inclusive of VAT at 20%.

We no longer take deposits. But we ask for payment in full one month before the start of your walk.  Note that, although we are members of ABTOT,  there is no financial protection for this service.
